Longing to Climb

Jenny and Christa summitted Longs Peak on Aug. 27, 2005!

Longs Peak is a mountain in Colorado with an elevation greater than 14,000 feet or 4,250 meters (aka fourteener). Longs Peak is known for both its challenging technical faces and the long arduous path through the keyhole to the summit

"I hadn't really comprehended what ‘exposed’ meant, nor what a ‘class 3’ 14er really is....the vertigo got to me a little. But, we had great weather and lots of help along the way (from the other 200 some people!), and it was awesome. We camped at the Boulder-field the night before, then headed to the peak at 6 am."
